MOORESVILLE, N.C. – GREE, the world's largest manufacturer of specialized Cooling & Heating Products officially announced today a multi-year contract to support rising star Gus Dean beginning with a full 2017 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards schedule launching with the season-opening Daytona International Speedway event on Sat., Feb. 18, 2017.

“This is an absolute blessing and incredible opportunity,” said Dean, a native of Bluffton, S.C. “We have worked incredibly hard over the years to find the right partner that will allow me to showcase my capabilities, while promote a product I believe in.

“I’m proud to represent GREE and their associates for the 2017 season and beyond. There aren’t words to describe my excitement. I plan to go out there every race and give 100 percent and do my best to bring them a championship!”

GREE joined 22-year-old Dean for a limited ARCA Racing Series schedule this past season through a relationship with its master distributor for the US market, Tradewinds Climate Systems. In their debut at Talladega Superspeedway on Apr. 29, Dean driving the No. 98 GREE Chevrolet for Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) set the fastest time in practice, qualified second, led 21 laps before edging Josh Williams for his first career ARCA victory in just his second career start.

From Talladega, the partnership blossomed and elevated to new heights with additional exposure and support. Tradewinds Climate Systems will return for the 2017 season, as well as a number of their regional wholesalers, salespeople, and most importantly, fellow race fans. The company, which ranked 385th in Forbes’ Global 2000 possesses 18,000 active patents for products sold in 160 countries.

“We could not be more proud to support Gus Dean for 2017 and beyond,” said Tradewinds president Dave Pearson. “He exemplifies everything we’re looking for as a company spokesperson and more. Being a part of ARCA in 2017 is a great opportunity for GREE to expand our marketing portfolio into Motorsports and we have a lot of exciting things planned that we feel will surely attract a lot of attention.

“We know Gus has the ability to continue his winning ways in his first full season of ARCA competition and contend for a championship, while also looking ahead down the road towards a path in NASCAR. We can’t wait for Daytona to get here!”

Already committed to proving their focus on Motorsports in 2017, GREE has confirmed an in-car camera for each ARCA Racing Series race televised on either FOX Sports 1 or FOX Sports 2 during the series’ 65th consecutive season beginning with the Lucas Oil 200 from the World Center of Racing at Daytona on Feb. 18.

An announcement concerning a team for GREE and Dean will be announced prior the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) trade show in Indianapolis on Thurs., Dec. 8.
