The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) latest rollover resistance ratings and crash test results for 2001 model year vehicles are now available on the agency's World Wide Web site: http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/.

For rollover resistance, the Chevrolet Prizm four-door, Ford Crown Victoria four-door, Hyundai Accent four-door, Lincoln LS four-door, Mercury Grand Marquis four-door, Oldsmobile Alero four-door, Pontiac Grand Am four-door, Toyota Camry four-door, Toyota Corolla four-door, Ford Escape 4x2 four-door utility, Ford Escape 4x4 four-door utility, Ford Explorer 4x2 four-door utility, Honda Passport 4x2 four-door utility, Infiniti QX4 4x2 four-door utility, Isuzu Rodeo 4x2 four-door utility, Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x2 four-door utility, Jeep Wrangler 4x4 two-door utility, Mazda Tribute 4x2 four-door utility, Mazda Tribute 4x4 four-door utility, Mercury Mountaineer 4x2 four-door utility, Mitsubishi Montero Sport 4x2 four-door utility, Nissan Pathfinder 4x2 four-door utility, Nissan Xterra 4x4 four-door utility, Subaru Forester 4x4 four-door utility, Ford F-150 4x4 two-door pickup, Nissan Frontier 4x4 four-door pickup, Ford Windstar van, Mercury Villager van, Nissan Quest van, and the Toyota Siennavan are rated.

For frontal impact, the Chevrolet Monte Carlo two-door,Oldsmobile Alero two-door, Pontiac Grand Am two-door, Toyota Celica two-door, Acura TL four-door, Buick LeSabre four-door, Buick Park Ave four-door, Chrysler 300M four-door, Chrysler LHS four-door, Pontiac Bonneville four-door, Chevrolet Tracker 4x4 four-door utility, Suzuki Vitara 4x4 four-door utility, Toyota 4Runner 4x4 four-door utility, Toyota RAV4 4x4 four-door utility, Dodge Ram 1500 4x2 two-door pickup, Ford F-150 4x2 extended cab pickup, and the Dodge Ram 1500 van, are rated.

For side impact, the Chevrolet Monte Carlo two-door, Chrysler Sebring two-door, Dodge Stratus two-door, Toyota Celica two-door, Acura TL four-door, Buick Park Ave four-door, Lexus IS300 four-door, Mazda Millenia four-door, Mitsubishi Galant four-door, Oldsmobile Intrigue four-door, Pontiac Grand Prix four-door, Toyota Echo four-door, Ford Escape 4x4 four-door utility, and the Mazda Tribute 4x4 four-door utility are rated.

For rollover resistance, frontal impact, and side impact, the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) reports rollover resistance ratings and crash test results in a range of one to five stars, with five stars showing the best crash protection for vehicles. Frontal tests should be compared only within the same weight class.
