Son of Founder Of Harbison-Walker Succumbs at 75

William Albert Harbison, 75, a former Pittsburgher and son of the founder of the Harbison-Walker Refractories Company here, died Friday in Hanover, New Hampshire, it was learned here Saturday.

Mr. Harbison died as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident about five weeks ago. He had lived in White Plains, N. Y., for many years.

Native of Pittsburgh

A native of Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Samuel P. Harbison and a brother of Ralph W. Harbison of Sewickley.

Me. Harbison was educated at the old Western University of Pennsylvania and Princeton University. He was married to the late Harriet Euwer, who died in 1945.

Contributor to Missions

Throughout much of his life, he was a heavy contributor in both time and money to missionary and educational activities of the Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his brother, Mr. Harbison is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carl W. Heye, of Scarsdale, N. Y.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. today in the White Plains Presbyterian Church, with burial in Mt. Pleasant, N. Y.
