BRISBANE, Saturday—Two unrestored vintage cars—a 1928 De Soto and a 1930 Dodge—are part of a shipment of antiques being shipped to the United States, via Sydney, on September 29.

They have been sold to Mr Robert Huxtable, 75, owner of a maple syrup factory in Lansing, Michigan, who wants to restore them so that his granddaughter can use one to take her to high school.

A Kingeroy upholsterer, Mr Graham Crittenden, arranged the sale of the cars, which he is trimming with Australian leather. The sale brought $2,375.
