To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate his Department has made of the number of traffic accidents in which the use of a satellite navigation system has been a contributing factor in the last five years. [3975]

The information requested is not collected by the Department. However, related information on reported accidents where a ‘distraction in vehicle’ contributory factor was allocated is published.
