In April, he made his second series start at Richmond (Va.) International Speedway. In March, the Wilton, California native made his XFINIY debut at Phoenix (Ariz.) Practice Time: 30.726 seconds at 123.960 MPH.

Practice Position: 25th

Fastest Lap: 35th

Number of Laps Completed: 45

Qualifying Draw: 37 / 40

“I think we have a pretty good No. 25 Zaxby’s Chevrolet Camaro. I’ve never seen New Hampshire Motor Speedway before this morning, so we worked on getting me comfortable during this first practice.

“The longer that we ran the quicker I became and we were able to adjust the car as needed. I still have some work to do to get better, but I think we’re going to get there. The final practice session is coming up soon, so we’ll see if we can’t make some more gains there.

“Mike (Ford) and the Athenian Motorsports guys have brought a good car to the track. I just need to work on not being so tight in the center of the corner. We can’t get the car turned and get back to the throttle like we want. We’ll make adjustments and see what we can get.”

The Lakes Region 200 (200 laps / 211.6 miles) is the 17 of 34 events on the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series schedule. The final practice session of the weekend has been etched in closer to race conditions later today from 3:00 p.m. – 4:25 p.m. Qualifying is set for race day, Saturday, July 18 scheduled to lift off at 11:15 a.m. The 40-car starting field will take the green flag shortly after 4:00 p.m. with live coverage on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN), the Performance Racing Network (Radio) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Satellite Radio, Channel 90.
