COMMENT PERIOD OPEN 6/16/2015 - 7/29/2015
The Federal Vehicle Standards comment collection period for Buses, and Wreckers and Carriers will be open between June 16, 2015 and July 29, 2015.
NOTE! Please do not submit comments for any other vehicles at this time. Comments submitted for vehicles other than buses or wreckers and carriers will not be considered.
The comment collection periods supports the required coordination activities for vehicle standards and specifications development. Interested parties can view federal vehicle standard items and documentation and submit their comments online.
We are also pleased to announce the Federal Vehicle Standards website has been redesigned! The website can now be found at the following link (please update your bookmarks):

The redesigned site follows the same look-and-feel as our other previously redesigned websites. The basic functionality of the previous standards website remains the same. The new site will also continue to house an archive of previous model year data and documentation.
To submit comments to the DRAFT 2016 standards, go to:

Once the standards website is open:
Log in with existing account or create a new account with a valid email address before submitting comments. Existing accounts from the old website have been transferred to the new Federal Vehicle Standards site.
Select the year “2016”.
Click on the tabs to select the Standard Item or Documentation you wish to comment on and add comments.
