CHICAGO, Illinois (April 8, 2008) - - The wait is finally over. After nearly a two month break the ARCA RE/MAX Series (ARS) will fire the engines back up Sunday afternoon for the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 by Federated Auto Parts, round number two on the ARCA calendar. Tonight the ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway will have a jammed-pack show previewing the first of two events at Salem Speedway this season!

Before switching gears and welcoming Tuesday’s night guests the ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway will talk about the qualifying accident involving former ARCA phenomenon Michael McDowell at Texas Motor Speedway. The ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway will focus on the COT (Car of Today) and determine whether or not it’s need in ARCA now or later.

Also on deck is the “Hero or Zero” topic. The ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway will draw three-to-four drivers who are entered in this weekend’s activities and whether or not they will finish in the top-10 (hero) or not (zero).

Following the first segment, ARCA Thunder focuses on the SPEEDtv.com Hot Seat focusing on “ Salem .” It’s the first of two trips for the ARCA RE/MAX Series this year and the ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway will cover the entry list from top to bottom. Also the focus on the recent testing at the half-mile oval and the anticipation of a potential first time winner on Sunday.

Preceding the “ Salem ” topic will be well-known Motorsports writer Bethann Puderbaugh in the Around The Track installment presented by Team GLOCK. Welcoming Puderbaugh from Inside The Pit Box for the first ever time to ARCA Thunder the crew will get her insight on the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Her thoughts on the upcoming race at Salem Speedway and who she feel will take home the coveted 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series championship. Puderbaugh has also had experience in the ARCA RE/MAX Series as a team Public Relations representative.

With the conclusion of the Around The Track installment presented by Team GLOCK the focus shifts on the ARCA whackers from Texas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series. A former ARS driver netted his first win of the season in NASCAR’s number two division this past Saturday.

Before segment four Chris Knight will inform everyone of the latest news and rumors in the ARCA garage presented by Race City Steel.

In the white flag portion of the show the ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway will survey “who must finish in the top-five at Salem ?”

Before closing out the show, the ARCA Thunder crew presented by Rockingham Speedway will give their Office Depot Pick ‘Em for Salem Speedway this weekend.
