The Gauntlet Approaching Opening Date; Ready To Offer New Experiences

HICKORY, North Carolina (August 29, 2012) - - The Gauntlet, a brand new indoor go-karting facility is approaching its scheduled open date of October 1st and is offering their members a complete experience while still offering the fundamentals of intense and fast paced go-kart racing at its finest.

The Gauntlet with nearly 25,000 square feet of racetrack and staging areas is not for your average Joe. The Gauntlet is specifically designed to be a practice, training and racing facility where drivers of all levels can have fun and race while at the same, time hone their craft.

With a membership to the Gauntlet, you will have access to the track and its components via an access key fob to get inside. The all-inclusive membership also allows them to be eligible to participate in the “big money” race events held throughout the year with a substantial payoff.

Additionally, each member between the ages of 12-15 are required to have at least three full years of racing experience and currently be racing in bandoleros at a minimum. 15 and older are required to have at least three full years of racing experience at any level. All membership applicants are subject to approval by the gauntlet.

“We’re looking at building The Gauntlet as a successful and respected go-karting facility in North Carolina,” said Justin Boston, the tracks founder. “Our purpose is to provide a relaxed but pleasant atmosphere that will allow racers to tackle a new track at incredible speeds and at a lighting fast pace. Our “big money” races will be like none other and will encourage racers from all over to come and see what The Gauntlet is truly all about.”
