RANDLEMAN, North Carolina (August 24, 2012) - - Amidst controversy, NASCAR Whelen All-American Series (NWASS) standout Ryan Wilson returns to Caraway (N.C.) Speedway as the most recent winner. Tonight, the local star is driven on doing the same but he’ll hold the drama, please.

Scoring his second NWAAS triumph of the season and first since March on August 11, Wilson now returns to his hometown track looking to guide his No. 12 Southern Pharmacy Services / Randolph Bank Toyota Camry into victory circle – showing the competitors and fans just how driven his Ryan Wilson Motorsports (RWM) team is.

“It’s always good to win; I just hate all the circumstances surrounding our win a couple weeks ago,” offered Wilson, who is also now a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte majoring in Motorsports Engineering. “That’s over now and I’m focused on winning the next one.”

With another set of 50-laps shootouts set for tonight, the 20-year old believes that he can wheel his No. 12 Southern Pharmacy Services / Randolph Bank Toyota Camry to his fourth career win.

“I think we’re focused now more than ever to keep our No. 12 Southern Pharmacy Services / Randolph Bank Toyota Camry up front and in the hunt for wins. The entire Ryan Wilson Motorsports team has worked incredibly hard this year and I think our on-track performance stands for that. My uncle Kirk (Bryant) has found some new things that have helped us on the track too, so overall we’ve stepped up the program, including myself.”

Honing in on just three races remaining at Caraway, Wilson wants to give his sponsors Southern Pharmacy Services and Randolph Bank a little more limelight in the winner’s circle.

“We would not have been in victory lane twice this year without the support of Southern Pharmacy Services, Randolph Bank and all of our supporters,” Wilson said. “We have an opportunity to bring more trophies home this season and that would be big for us, so we plan to fight for every spot in every race and just hope with a little luck, we’ll be able to make that happen.”
