BRAVO TRAILERS PRESENTS MID-AMERICAN at ELKO

Matt Panure
Mid American Stock Car Series
September 18, 2013

Fort Atkinson, WI - Elko Speedway once again will host the Mid-American Stock Car Series for it’s 5th Annual Thunderstruck 93. The weekend is in memory of Dan Ryan and is produced to help fight ALS.

Once again, with three big shows remaining, the point battle is bubbling. A strong running Brad Keith from West Bend, WI leads the way on a quest for his first Mid-Am title. Three of the next five cars in his wake are not only veterans but also past Mid-Am champions. The 1996 champion Mark Pluer from Brookfield, WI and last year’s titleholder Jeremy Spoonmore from Somonauk, IL are nipping at Keith’s heels making sure if Keith is going to win it, he’s going to have to earn it. After a rough and tumble season and missing a couple races, the 2010 champ Lyle Nowak from Wausau, WI is 6th in the standings. But, after getting his second wind you can count on Nowak to be in the mix the rest of the season.

In fifth position is another veteran, Rick Tackman from Waukesha, WI, enjoying his best season of his Mid-Am career. Then….like a puppy antagonizing the old dogs, in fourth position is rookie Dan Gilster from West Salem, WI. Dan has been improving his program throughout the season and is focused on the top.

Presenting the Mid-American Stock Car Series this weekend is Bravo Trailers. Mid-American proudly represents Bravo by utilizing a Bravo Trailer as our ‘tech’ trailer. The ’20 foot Star trailer is built durable enough to haul a race car yet tows like a dream. Two way radios, printers, laptops and other tech equipment are transported safely and sound in place of a car. The two tone angled exterior and aluminum wheels makes for nice looking trailer no matter what’s inside. “Mid-American is proud and privileged to represent Bravo”, states Mid-Am owner Doug Strasburg.

Mitchell Bender founded Bravo Trailers with one goal in mind: to build a great trailer that you can be proud to own. As a 25-year industry veteran who previously founded and built the largest cargo trailer manufacturer in the country, starting Bravo with a clean sheet of paper was a dream come true. Mitch is a hands-on owner who knows and uses his products. You can find him on any given weekend towing a trailer – either racing with his son or hauling motorcycles to a favorite destination.

The mission at Bravo Trailers is to eliminate problems by building trailers and options that work better, look great and exceed your expectations. These lofty goals can only be attained by a passionate team with the desire to succeed. Mitch Bender, Gary Mackelprang and Kate Lockwood have over 50 years of combined trailer building experience with the determination to get the job done.
