Avondale, Arizona (November 6, 2012) - John King returns to Wauters Motorsports to pilot the No. 5 Fairway Ford in Friday night’s Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Phoenix International Raceway.

Richie Wauters in his term as crew chief has an exceptional track record boasting one win (Kyle Busch 2007), five top-five and six top-10 finishes in just seven starts on the 1-mile flat-track in Avondale, Arizona.

King will be making his first start at Phoenix International Raceway and his second start for Wauters Motorsports. He debuted with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team at Kentucky Speedway in September.

“First off, I'm really excited to be back with Richie (Wauters) and his team,” John King said. “They've got some awesome Ford F-150 race trucks and have the knowledge that's needed to make them go fast at the track. This will be my first time to Phoenix as a driver. I feel like Phoenix will relate to what I have raced in the past, dirt late models and late model stocks, being as its fairly flat and races more like a short track. I know also that whatever I lack in knowledge of the track as a driver, the team will be able to offset with their knowledge.”

The Lucas Oil 150 (150 laps, 150 miles) is slated to begin at 8:00pm ET Friday, November 9, 2012. SPEED will broadcast live television coverage beginning with qualifying at 4:30pm ET with prerace coverage beginning at 7:30pm ET. MRN and Sirius XM Satellite Radio Channel 90 will begin live radio coverage from Phoenix International Raceway at 7:30pm ET.
