LAS VEGAS –
The offseason is over and the Pacific Street Car Association is kicking off the 2013 campaign in grand fashion this week with the Chris Alston’s Chassisworks Record Breaker Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The event starts Friday and features all the PSCA classes including the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mods, and Jr. Dragsters, live music, a huge vendor row, and a massive car show. The race weekend will also include the stars of the NHRA Mello Yello Series Pro Stock class, who will be there testing prior to the beginning of their season along with some Top Fuel and Top Alcohol teams.
“The great thing about Vegas and motorsports is that they share the same belief of go big or go home and we’re definitely going big for the season opener of our 14th
year for the PSCA,” said Mel Roth, sanction president. “We’re looking forward to a great event with our racers, our amazing fans, and some of the folks over at the NHRA Mello Yello Series providing some additional on-track entertainment.
“We couldn’t do events like this without the help of people like Chris Alston and Chris Alston’s Chassisworks and I can’t thank them, and all our other marketing partners, enough for everything they do for us.”
