Daniel Herrington:

“I think we did pretty much what we set out to do. We wanted to run a nice, consistent race for our first time here and our first race towards the championship and we kind of got hurt a bit by the qualifying procedure. So we ended up running kind of where we were speed-wise from practice and qualifying, which was good, but we still left some time out there to try and figure out to get back overnight. We are still lacking just a little bit here and there to get to that next level and to get in the top-three. We’ll work on it tonight and try and make some gains on it in the race tomorrow.”

James Davison:

“I made a very good start and then I just made a number of mistakes when I was trying to out-brake people. I didn’t quite have the stability in the car to be able to brake as late and carry the speed through the turns as I would have liked. Whenever I had to defend and brake lightly, then I would lock the fronts [tires], skid wide and that how I lost all of my positions. It was a tough debut with Vision Racing, but we had a okay speed and now its up to me tomorrow to do a better job in the second race.”
