CHARLOTTE NC (October 17, 2012, 2012) – Garret Marchant is excited to announce his 2013 plans formerly as he plans to make a run at the 2013 Limited Late Model Championship at Southern National Motorsports Park. Marchant recently completed his first full year behind the wheel of a Limited Late model at the track that he calls home and learned much throughout the season. The news broke last night on his radio show, Off the Track, which airs weekly on Tuesday nights with co-host Lindsey Anne Heckaman.

Furthermore, Marchant was excited to go on and say that he has the opportunity to make his K&N East Pro Series debut in 2013; which would allow him to prepare for a 2014 season in NASCAR’s regional division.

“I am really excited to release my 2013 plans! Lots of hard work and determination has lead me to this point in my career so far. The plans are not 100% complete, because of marketing partner deals in the works. I am excited to announce that I can race in K&N East Pro series, pending partners,” Marchant said following his radio show. “Look forward to seeing me contend for a championship in the NASCAR Wheelen All American Limited Late Model series at SNMP. This year was all about learning and next year I am going to go out there and prove what I learned. Even though I did not win a race this year in great equipment, I know it is coming soon!”

With it being October and Breast Cancer Awareness month, Garrett would like to remind his fans to continue supporting his Racing 2 Cure efforts. Through the season, the Garrett Marchant Racing fan booth and at track events brought in more than $400 for the charity that helps the personal side of cancer. Those interested in making a donation, anywhere from $5 and up, can visit Garrett’s personal URL: racing2cure.org/drivers/GarrettMarchant.
