AFG Home Improvements & Kim's Sweet Sensations Join Garrett Marchant for 2013 Season
CHARLOTTE NC (January 28, 2013) – Today Garrett Marchant Racing is excited to announce that two new companies are joining the team for the 2013 season, AFG Home Improvements and Kim’s Sweet Sensations. These two companies are located within thirty minutes from New York City and are ready to return to the racing scene this season.
AFG Home Improvements (AFG) has been in business for a little over a year, but the man behind the company, Anthony Gerardi Jr, is definitely not new to the construction businesses. With over 20 years of experience, Gerardi can tackle any job from kitchens, bathrooms, decks, siding, painting, additions; no job is too small for him and AFG. Kim’s Sweet Sensations is a sweets shop run by Gerardi’s girlfriend and they make custom cakes, candies, and more! The shop does local business but can also make cakes if you are willing to make the drive. One couple that was getting married in Virginia made the trip to north Jersey for their cake; it must mean they are great!
“This is the best way to get back into racing,” Gerardi says about joining Garrett Marchant Racing in 2013, “I want to help Garrett towards his goals and be more involved as we move forward.” Gerardi also says that he would like to see Garrett race this season in person at Southern National, and might even bring some sweets, thanks to Kim’s Sweet Sensations for the fans to enjoy. “I have been a race fan since I was seven years old, racing street stocks when I was younger, I just really enjoy being around racing and this is going to be great,” Gerardi added on.
“I cannot be more excited to have two great companies like AFG and Kim's Sweet Sensations coming on board the number 77 this season, and many more in the future. This is going to be a great partnership that I believe my fans are going to enjoy with me,” driver Garrett Marchant said about his newest partners.
