RECEIVER FOR WILLS CARS.

The New York Times
November 29, 1922

DETROIT, Nov. 28.—The Security Trust Company of Detroit today was appointed receiver for C. H. Wills & Co., motor car manufacturers of Marysville, Mich. The proceeding, it was announced, is a friendly one undertaken by agreement between C. Harold Wills, President of the company, the bankers and the major creditors.

Mr. Wills in a statement declared that the company was solvent and that the court action was taken as a means of rehabilitating it and placing it on a strong financial basis. Operation would be uninterrupted, he said.

"It should be understood," he added, "that this proceeding involves the C. H. Wills Company only and that no other company at Marysville is included."
