January 10th 2013 - INDIANAPOLIS – Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka, the official vodka of the IZOD IndyCar Series and the primary sponsor for Ed Carpenter Racing, has announced its new 2013 “Fuzzy’s Green Flag Girl Calendar” is now on sale with the calendar’s proceeds going to charity.

Fuzzy’s Vodka, THE HOLE-IN-ONE VODKA founded by golf legend Fuzzy Zoeller, has developed a high-quality calendar featuring the winning “Green Flag Girl” contestants from last year’s “Fuzzy’s Green Flag Tour” in conjunction with the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series races.

Each calendar is available through www.fuzzyvodka.com or fuzzys.indycar.com at a cost of $15.99 (plus $3.00 shipping). The calendar includes 13 “Green Flag Girls” who won positions through a national ballot from racing fans.

The Benevolent Fund of Motor Sports, also known as the Indy Family Foundation, is the charity benefitting from the sales of the new 2013 “Fuzzy’s Green Flag Girl Calendar.” The mission of the charity is to aid those in the motor sports community (regardless of the sanctioning body), who find themselves in financial need due to hardship caused by illness, injury or death.

The fund’s assistance is available to not only race car drivers, but to all licensed participants in racing, including crew members, course workers, support and administrative personnel, public relations and media representatives and team owners, as well as, their immediate family members. The fund has donated over $450,000.

“We are honored to assist the Indy Family Foundation with the proceeds of the Fuzzy’s Green Flag Girl Calendar,” said Eric Timmerman, CEO of Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka. “The Foundation does outstanding work in the racing community and we, at Fuzzy’s, want to help continue this great effort.

“Additionally, we would like to congratulate the ladies who participated in the calendar, as well as thank all of women who assisted us on the Fuzzy’s Green Flag Tour in 2012. We had a great first full season with INDYCAR, as well as with Ed’s team. We are looking forward to following up the Fuzzy’s Green Flag Tour with Fuzzy’s 19th Hole in 2013.”

Carpenter, driver/owner of the #20 ECR/Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka Chevrolet, finished the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series in style by winning the IndyCar series season finale at Fontana, Calif. The team was able to celebrate in the “Fuzzy’s 19th Hole Victory Lane” at Auto Club Speedway on Sept. 15, 2012 after the MAVTV 500.

The 2013 “Fuzzy’s Green Flag Girl” Calendar features ladies from events at St. Petersburg, Birmingham, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Mid-Ohio and Baltimore.

The “Green Flag Girl” Calendar participants were Victoria B. (Cover and January), Callie C. (February), Eliese Z. (March), Brittany S. (April), Paige N. (May), Kayla G. (June), Stephanie B. (July), Krysti L. (August), Laura D. (September), Brittany W. (October and Back Cover), Stephanie W. (November), Brooke W. (December and Back Cover) and Tami H. (January 2014).

The Fuzzy’s “Green Flag Girls” calendar utilized the talents of photographers Khris Hale/Infiniti Photos, Aubrie Lemon Moates, Ryan Gautier and Christopher March to assist in the production.

In 2013, Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka expands their role to include the title sponsor for the 2013 “Triple Crown“ in the IZOD IndyCar Series featuring the Indianapolis 500, Pocono IndyCar 400 and the MAVTV 500. Known as the “Fuzzy’s Triple Crown,” the three-race oval track set will award a $1 million payout to the driver who wins all three prestigious events in 2013. A driver who wins two of the “Fuzzy’s Triple Crown” races will collect $250,000.
