PHILADELPHIA—United States Attorney Laurie Magid today announced the filing of a two count Information charging James Dou with two counts of armed carjacking, and with two counts of using a firearm during a crime of violence.

If convicted of all counts, the defendant faces a mandatory 32 years’ imprisonment to a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, a $500,000 fine, 5 years supervised release, and a $200 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the Philadelphia Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul L. Gray.
