Its nearly 50 years ago to the day that a marketing man at Aston Martin walked into the engineering department at Newport Pagnell and asked a colleague what he'd been up to that morning. The engineer told the salesman he'd been recording how fast the then brand new DB4 could accelerate from a standstill to 100mph and back again, at which point the marketing man' eyes lit up. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Once Aston Martin had set the ball rolling with time of 20sec flat all those years ago, numerous boundaries have been set and reset as the world of cars has evolved.

In 2006 at Britain, a test was carried out to find out the fasted car to be manufactured till to date. The results are amazing!!!
