McAdoo Escapes Speeding Charge.

VISALIA, Cal., Dec. 2.—Justice J. S. Clack announced today that William G. McAdoo, former Secretary of the Treasury, will not have to appear in his court tomorrow as a violator of the speed laws. L. W. Streator, Mr. McAdoo's chauffeur, will have to appear, as it has developed that Streator was at the wheel when the car was stopped by officers.
