At least 35 fatalities in Nepal bus crash

Police have comfirmed at least 35 people have died as the result of a bus accident in Nepal. The bus, which was travelling from the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh to a Hindu gathering in Triveni, close to the border between the two countries, crashed into a river close to the village development committee of Parasi.

Speaking at the incident area, police inspector Deepak Kumar Raya informed Agence France-Presse: "We have not seen the bus - it is still inside the water".
