Ramirez-Arguelles hobbles into court

Gus Philpott
Woodstock Advocate
August 18, 2011

A short hearing was held in the Jail courtroom this morning for Luis Ramirez-Arguelles in the same session as the hearing for Timothy Smith. Judge Condon presided over that court.

Ramirez-Arguelles used a walker to enter and leave the courtroom. I wondered if all of his hearings will be in the Jail court because of the first-degree murder charged lodged against him.

Upon motion by the State, the case was continued to September 8. Ramirez-Arguelles remains in custody.

No reporter from mainstream media attended this court session.
