Retailer Revs up with Exclusive In-Store Events, Driver Appearances
and Incredible Race Day Savings

BENTONVILLE, Ark., March 30, 2011 – As Texas prepares for the upcoming Samsung Mobile 500, select Walmart stores in the area will host exclusive NASCAR fan events through its new Race Time program starting April 5, 2011. Customers are invited to attend these special events and enjoy real stock racing car displays, special appearances by Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick and racing simulator machines – perfect to safely get behind the wheel and feel the power of NASCAR.

“We’ve found that nearly nine out of 10 NASCAR fans chose to shop at Walmart,” said Tim Ross, Walmart Local Market Manager. “We wanted to provide Texas race fans with unique Race Time experiences and unbelievable savings on NASCAR merchandise that you can only find at Walmart.”
