Retailer Revs up Racing Season with Exclusive In-Store Events and Incredible Race Day Savings

BENTONVILLE, Ark., March 22, 2011 – As Los Angeles prepares for the upcoming Fontana Auto Club 400, select Walmart stores in the Los Angeles area will host exclusive NASCAR fan events through its new Race Time program through Saturday, March 26. Customers are invited to attend these special events and enjoy real stock racing car displays and racing simulator machines – perfect to safely get behind the wheel and feel the power of NASCAR.

“We’ve found that nearly nine out of ten NASCAR fans chose to shop at Walmart1,” said Wesley Morris, Walmart market manager, “We wanted to provide Los Angeles race fans with unique Race Time experiences and unbelievable savings on NASCAR merchandise that you can only find at Walmart.”
