December 5, 2008

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - The American Speed Association will have a prime location at the upcoming 21st Annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show which will take place on December11-13, 2008 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The American Speed Association booth will be located at location #1649 in the North Hall, located right across from the TV stage and near the Pit Stop Café.

One of the highlights of the American Speed Association booth will be the cars that they will have on display. This includes: Cary Stapp’s ASA Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil Member Track National Championship car, the ISCARS DASH Touring/ASA car of Champion Danny Bagwell, and an ASA Super Late Model that represents the car driven in the ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour, ASA Northwest Late Model Tour, and the ASA Midwest Tour.

Attendees who visit the booth will have the opportunity to learn about the eleven different touring series and ASA Member Tracks sanctioned by the American Speed Association. Representatives will also be on hand to answer your questions about becoming involved in one of the fastest growing racing sanctioning bodies. Plus, current American Speed Association members can renew their memberships for the 2009 season.

Along with the camaraderie and new friendships made when visiting the booth, attendees will also get to see old “must see” racing footage from years gone by.

“The booth will be fun and informational for any attendee to PRI,” Dennis Huth, American Speed Association President stated. “Whether you are a racer, a track promoter, a series promoter, a manufacturer, or media, we will have something of interest for you. I encourage everyone to stop by and take a look.”

The 21st Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show is ranked as the 48th largest trade show in the US by Tradeshow Week magazine. It is not open to the public, but to pre-qualified members of the racing business.

This year’s event will have over 45,000 buyers from 50 countries, 1450 exhibiting companies, and 4200 booths in a 1 million square feet area. (Source: http://www.performanceracing.com/tradeshow/index/general_info.html)
