ARCA RE/MAX Series Race No. 9, Prairie Meadows 250
Iowa Speedway, Newton , Iowa

Race Information: Event: Prairie Meadows 250, Saturday, June 2 at 8:00 p.m. Local Time live on SPEED Track: Iowa Speedway Qualifying: Saturday, June 2 at 4:00 p.m. Local Time Track Length: .875-mile paved oval.

Toledo Recap: Taking his turn behind the wheel of the No. 48 FreeFeds.org Dodge Charger, Brode was attempting to make his ARS debut at Toledo Speedway. Unfortunately, the team struggled in practice and qualifying putting them out of the starting lineup for the Hantz Group 200 by Federated Auto Care

Legendary Number: Brode will carry the No. 48 for Saturday’s event from Iowa Speedway. The car number is legendary in ARS competition. Last year, James Hylton, a hierarch in Motorsports retired from ARCA competition handing the reins to Brode and Carter-2-Motorsports.

Inaugural Event: Brode, a successful late model driver from the Carolinas will once again attempt to make his ARS debut on Saturday. In addition, Brode will also attempt to make his inaugural event at the new Iowa Speedway.

’07 Plans: Brode has joined the driver development program at Carter-2-Motorsports for the balance of the 2007 season. Brode is preparing to qualify for the remaining 15 events left on the schedule.

Chassis Information: During the time off, the Carter-2-Motorsports team has fiercely worked on the Dodge Charger hoping to reward the team with their best finish of the season. Currently, Nick Tucker reeled in the rookie team’s best outing with a 15th place finish at USA International Speedway ( Lakeland ) in March.

Support The Team: FreeFeds.org will continue their primary co-sponsorship of Brode’s Dodge at Iowa Speedway this weekend. A new sponsor to the ARCA RE/MAX Series this season, FreeFeds.org intent is simple. FreeFeds.org’s sole purpose is to gain public support for adding parole for non-violent, non repeat offenders to the federal prison system. They are of the belief that the federal justice system is in need of a total reform. The organization, however, is mainly interested in working toward adding a system of parole for non-violent offenders as part of that overall reform.

And Thanks For Your Support: In addition to FreeFeds.org, Carter-2-Motorsports will also carry associate sponsorship from Explore America , The Idaho Observer, RVrentToGo.com, 100fold.net, and Accelerating Developments International (ADI).

Carter-2-Motorsports, Iowa Speedway Pre-Race Quotes:
Dan Brode, driver of the No. 48 FreeFeds.org Dodge Charger:

On Toledo Speedway : “It was disappointing to say the least. We had some problems all weekend long and just never could overcome them. I hate it for my team and sponsors. We’ll bounce back from it, that’s a promise.”

On Iowa Speedway : “A lot of people have told me good things about Iowa Speedway. It’s a state-of-the-art facility and should be a great race. I plan to have our No. 48 a part of the action Saturday night.”

On Carter-2-Motorsports: “It takes time for the chemistry to come in, but I feel that we’re making good progress. I really enjoy working in the shop. We’re getting along real good and I think everyone will see the difference in a race or two.”

Carter-2-Motorsports, Iowa Speedway Pre-Race Quotes:
Roger Carter, owner of the No. 48 FreeFeds.org Dodge Charger:

On Dan Brode: “We knew we were going to have some trial and tribulation with Dan. Right now he is learning. He has a lot of potential. We were all disappointed with the bad luck at Toledo but we hope to turn things around at Iowa this weekend.”
