ARCA RE/MAX Series Race No. 8, Hantz Group 200 by Federated Auto Care
Toledo Speedway, Toledo , Ohio

Race Information: Event: Hantz Group 200 presented by Federated Auto Care, Sunday, May 20 at 12:00 p.m. Local Time live on SPEED Track: Toledo Speedway Qualifying: Saturday, May 19 at 3:30 p.m. Local Time Track Length: .5-mile paved oval.

Kentucky Recap: After starting a solid 18th, Bryan Silas was patiently and quietly moving towards a top-10 finish in the running of last Saturday night’s Buckle-Up Kentucky 150 but a incident attempting to enter pit road for a cut tire sent the team behind the wall for repairs. Silas returned to the track, several laps down but finished the event in 33rd position.

No Toledo Slouch: Silas made his Toledo Speedway last September in an impressive fashion. After qualifying 21st, he maneuvered himself through several incidents to notch a then career-best finish of 16th completing 201 of the extended 202 laps.

Looking Sharp: Nortrax, Shell Rotella-T, Holland Pump and Palm Beach Grading (PBG) will sponsor Silas’s No. 11 Chevrolet Monte Carlo this Sunday. The duo group of sponsors continues their foray into the ARCA RE/MAX Series (ARS) and will hold sponsorship of the Fast Track Racing entry.

Glad To Have You Aboard: Local supporters CoZmedic Surgery Associates and Hair Loss Treatment Centers will sport their logos on Silas’s Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the eighth ARCA event this season.

CoZmedic Surgery Associates and Hair Loss Treatment Centers are consulting companies that manage plastic surgeon’s practices. They perform the “business” side of the occupation so the Surgeon can do what he or she likes and perform the medical side of the vocation.

Points Chase: Even with their disappointing finish last week, Silas remains 10th in the ARCA RE/MAX Series point standings trailing fellow Floridian Patrick Sheltra by 130 points. Silas is only 180 points from locking himself solidly into the top-six in the championship chase.

Did You Know?: Bryan Silas is a frequent visitor of “Inside The ARCA RE/MAX Series”, the internet racing show devoted to the ARCA RE/MAX Series aired every Tuesday night beginning at 9:00pm. Visit InsideARCA.com for recent archives and Bryan ’s opinion on some of the latest topics.

Double Header Weekend: It will be a busy weekend for the Stuart, Florida native. In addition to making his second Toledo Speedway start, Silas is also attempting to make the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Lowes Motor Speedway, The Quaker Steak & Lube 200. Silas is one of 37 competitors going for 36 spots in the event. Promising LMS testing results should yield him his second NCTS start. Silas made his debut last month running a double header at Kansas Speedway.

Chevrolet Monte Carlo :

On Kentucky : “Rookie mistake, plain and simple. I had a tire going down and I tried to come to pit road and I made contact with another one of my competitors. I learned my lesson from the incident and I’m looking forward to putting Kentucky behind us and moving on to Toledo .”

On Toledo Speedway : “I’ve had some success at Toledo Speedway, so it’s one of my favorite tracks. I am looking forward to the day race there. I made my debut under the lights last September and we had a good run. Hopefully we can get our season back on track with a top-10 performance on Sunday afternoon.

On The New Associate Sponsors: “I am thrilled to have CoZmedic Surgery Associates and Hair Loss Treatment Centers aboard our car for this weekend. Their programs are very impressive to their respected industries and we’ve been consulting with them for a while hoping to show them the thrill and excitement of the ARCA RE/MAX Series, I hope we can give them a good run on Sunday.”

On The Season: “Overall, it’s been good. We’ve had our share of ups and downs, but what team doesn’t. My team works hard each week, we’ve made some mistakes but we’ve learned from them. My sponsors are very supportive of our season and I’m lucky to work with a guy like Andy Hillenburg. A win is not out of the picture for our team this season.”
