Amp Electric Vehicles (Amp Holding Inc., OTCQB: AMPD) a Cincinnati, Ohio-based early-stage automotive company that converts sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to emission-free electric vehicles (EVs) was established in 2007. Among their current offerings are electric versions of the Mercedes-Benz ML350 and Jeep Grand Cherokee. The company has delivered an electric vehicle to Dayton Power & Light, and they have a five-year, 1,000 SUV order from Northern Lights Energy in Iceland.

AMP using Lithium iron phosphate batteries that cells are purchased from battery vendors and then built as AMP’s own battery packs around those cells and the company’s electronics/software systems in a simple series solution.
